As Founder and Managing Director, Louise has spear-headed the commercial development of Surveybe Solutions and Services and has been responsible for ‘cementing the vision’ of surveybe and bringing it to market.
Louise has over 15 years professional and commercial experience advising senior ministers, international development partners and grass-roots organisations alike.
Louise has spent 11 years in Tanzania, nine of which as Managing Director of East Africa’s most quality renowned socio-economic data collection firm.
Louise is responsible for leading surveybe and the wider businesses as they continue to expand and her ‘hands-on’ style ensures she maintains oversight across all business functions.

Joachim, Founder and Research Director at surveybe, is a highly experienced researcher and survey manager, with a thirst for new ideas and technologies to improve the speed, cost and quality of surveys.
It was Joachim who realised that the market did not provide appropriate software for the kind of surveys we typically implement and consequently embarked upon a journey to solve this problem; a journey which ultimately led to the creation of surveybe. Joachim has been instrumental in both the conceptual and practical design of surveybe. His skills, knowledge and experience combined with his natural flair for devising efficient data collection systems mean every aspect of surveybe is scoped to ensure what we offer is of optimal use to data managers and field teams alike. Joachim has directed dozens of surveys in rural areas, but also remains active as an academic researcher, with publications in top peer-reviewed economic and biomedical journals.
